Nicole Chung

Nicole Chung is a mom, wife, poet, published author, former foster youth, adoptee and an advocate for children, teenagers, and parents as well. She completed her Master’s of Science in Marriage, Family, and Couples Counseling, specializing in trauma and crisis. She is currently a Processing Life Coach, where she specializes in working through behavioral and communicative issues with families, which include but are not limited to fostering families, grandparents, and adopted parents. 

In addition, she works as a Youth Advocate for the largest youth organization in San Diego, CA, (San Diego Youth Services) which provides housing and after care needs for former foster youth and homeless youth. Chung has a passion for working with, coaching, and mentoring families who struggle with behavioral and socio-emotional issues, along with providing support for families in need of assistance navigating through life changes. This passion stems from her background of being raised amongst a village.
